Our performers include dancers, actors, vocalists, and performance artists from a variety of methods and backgrounds. We ask a lot of them and require a lot of flexibility, which they always supply!
Emma Sargent
Emma Sargent is a freelance dancer, dance-maker, and performance artist living in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her creative interests include multidisciplinary performance, contact improvisation and partnering, and promoting marginalized voices through art. She recently completed a BFA in Modern Dance and a BA in Gender Studies from the University of Utah. While at the University, Emma had the pleasure of working with choreographers and artists including Satu Hummasti, Daniel Clifton, Kris Grey and Maya Ciarrocchi, Katie Faulkner, and Daniel Charon. Recently, Emma has performed in multiple dance works by Dat Nguyen, and she is a member of project based companies Cat + Fish Dances and Deseret Experimental Opera Company. She has also presented work alongside LMN Mov’t.
Peter C. Larsen

Peter C. Larsen is originally from the cold plains of North Dakota. He moved to Salt Lake City in 2011 and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Modern Dance from the University of Utah School of Dance. He is currently the President of Deseret Experimental Opera, a Salt Lake City arts nonprofit, and works as a local freelance dancer and light designer. Notable companies he has performed with include Municipal Ballet, Dance Balletti, Indie Kumari, VaVaVoom Cabaret, and the House of Stephens with artists Gia Bianca Stephens and Kay Bye. In light design and technical stage work, Peter has worked with many local artists including Molly Heller (founder of the Heartland Collective), Dat Nguyen (Co-founder of Queer Spectra Arts Festival), Deseret Experimental Opera, Nichelle Woods, and NYC based artists Rey and Maya Ciarrocchi.
